چکیده
The current work aimed to optimise aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) removal from milk by magnetic inactivated lactic acid bacteria (LAB) adsorbent using response surface methodology (RSM). In this research, the ability of 5 strains LAB was evaluated for AFM1 removal. Lactobacillus rhamnosus, which indicated highest adsorption efficiency compared other (p < 0.05), selected. obtained modified Fe3O4 particles generation adsorbent, further characterised Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, transmission and vibrating sample magnetometer. results that L. rhamnosus cells were successfully functionalised particles. A central composite design (CCD) applied investigate effect variables including time (5–125 min), temperature (3–23°C), initial concentration (0.1–2.1 μg L-1), fat (0–3.6%) on synthesised adsorbent. According RSM model, optimal conditions second-order model observed at 73.60 min, 17.82°C, 1.598 µg L−1, content 0.9% leading maximum 56.92%. Hence, approach can be an efficient easy-to-separate in removing milk. main functional groups involved carboxyl, amide, hydroxyl/amino groups. Moreover, had superparamagnetic behaviour could rapidly separated aqueous solutions. conclusion, study presented a novel method improve safety figures

A Study on the Antibacterial Activity of Lactic Acid Bacteria Isolated from Traditional Iranian Milk Samples
198 Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) were isolated from Iranian milk samples. Almost all isolatedLAB showed inhibitory activity towards E. coli and S. aureus as Gram negative and Grampositive indicators, respectively. No role was observed for hydrogen peroxide in the activity ofall isolated strains while organic acids proved a prominent role in all detected inhibitoryactivities. Within isolated LAB, ...
متن کاملAflatoxin M1-Binding Ability of Selected Lactic Acid Bacteria Strains and Saccharomyces boulardii in the Experimentally Contaminated Milk Treated with Some Biophysical Factors
There is a growing concern regarding the recurrent observation of aflatoxins (AFs) in the milk of lactating animals. Regarding this, the present study was conducted to assess the aflatoxin M1 (AFM1)-binding ability of three species, namely Lactobacillus rhamnosus, L. plantarum, and Saccharomyces boulardii, inAFM1-contaminatedmilk. The mentioned species were a...
متن کاملA Study on the Presence of Aflatoxin M1 in Cow’s Milk in Jiroft
Background and Aims: Cowchr('39')s milk is a daily staple food for many individuals that can be contaminated with many toxins such as aflatoxin M1 (AFM1). AFM1 is a chemical form of the aflatoxin B1 produced by some species of Aspergillus genus like A. ochraceus, A. flavus, A. nomius, and A. parasiticus that can contaminate feed and forage cattle. This toxin enters into the milk after eating co...
